Our Story

In June 2008 the vision that Kerry and Marie McCarthy had finally became a reality. After more than 20 years in the Medical field (Kerry as a paramedic and Marie as a nurse). Sweet Spot Candies was born in the Historic Downtown Faribault.

Wanting to make the Sweet Spot unique we created an old-fashioned theme to the store, which we remembered a lot from the stores we grew up with and so did our children. Sweet Spot Candies strives to find the candies of "old" and also offers hand-dipped chocolates, homemade fudge. As time progressed we have added Kerry's Famous Kettle Korn & handmade waffle cones.

As the buisness has grown so has our need. So we have added our sons Zack and Devon and our new daughter-in-law Camille, who comes to us & has added her creative flair with her own line of handmade greeting cards, gift boxes, and more.
